Letter from the President:

The Carter Group was established in 1994 to conduct retained executive search assignments but, since our inception, we have been regularly asked by our clients if we would conduct lower level recruiting projects. As businesses have sought ways to reduce their internal cost structure, more work like recruiting, is being outsourced. Given our recruiting expertise, our clients’ request, and the changing economy, we have decided to launch a separate recruiting division of The Carter Group to focus on these mid-level positions.

Our intent is to recruit for positions with a salary range of $75k to $175k and fall into the following three industry sectors: Technology, Services, and Manufacturing. We believe there is an opportunity to provide “retained-like executive search” to this mid-level arena, applying our proven analytical assessment process and deliver fewer viable/qualified candidates to our clients versus resumes. Clients will receive candidates who have been assessed through our quantitative Critical Skills Assessment© tool and research capabilities.

We are focused on reducing cycle time in the recruiting process for our clients by:

  • Providing multiple qualified candidates to select from
